The Travel & Leisure Show
The Travel & Leisure Show 2010
More than 4,000 visitors flocked to KOS Media¹s third Travel and Leisure Show at the Dover Cruise Terminal to see the very best of tourism opportunities in the county.
Show organiser, Liz Hare, said:
“This was our most successful show by far, with lots of business secured onsite for the exhibitors – some reported more bookings after the show had officially closed – and the number of cruise bookings suggest that its value-for-money/all-inclusive/see lots of places formula is proving particularly attractive in post-recession UK.
“We also had fantastic feedback from visitors, saying they didn’t know there was so much to do and that it was a very enjoyable and worthwhile day out. Many had visited us in the past and now wouldn’t miss it for anything.”
More than 30 prizes were on offer in the Free Prize Draw including a two-week cruise with Fred. Olsen.
Angela Flynn, who is Regional Sales Manager for the South of England for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines said: “This was the best show yet, and we were delighted to see so many loyal Fred. Olsen customers, and welcomed many new customers as well at the show.”
